In the beginning there was a Creator. The Creator’s name was God, and a glorious God he was. He decided to display his glory by designing a beautiful world. This new world would be magnificent. Every living thing would praise his name. All would be perfect. The Creator began his work.
At first there was nothing and the earth was dark, and the creator was hovering over it. Light then begins to enter into the earth. No longer is everything dark, but now there is brightness coming from an overhead object called the sun. The first day was complete. Next, water enters. Dry land rises up from the water on the third day. God was creating the heavens and the earth. The sun, moon, and stars now become visible on the fourth day, and on the fifth day living creatures of the air and sea appear, and then the sixth day comes. God decides to make his next creation, man, in his own image. On the seventh day, the Creator sees that everything is complete, and uses the day to rest. All is perfect and the Creator is happy. It was then up to man to keep it that way…
